The Central Working Committee for the Awori Day celebration visited the palace of the Adimula of Awori Kingdoms for royal blessings and advice. The team led by Prince Adetunji Fadina and the National vice chairman of AWAN Alhaji Yusuf and some other members of the committee were part of the entourage

The AWAN National Vice Secretary Alhaji Yusuf briefed Adimula on the need for the visit and why it’s considered cogent and highly necessary to have his endorsement, prayers, and support of Olofin, Arole Ogunfunmire – the progenitor
of Awori race.

A member of the committee, Alhaji Wasiu Oseni EJIRE who was also on the entourage of AWAN and the central committee also appreciated the warm reception from the palace of Olofin Adimula of iseri olofin, he also commends the monarch on the new face of iseri olofin in the area of infrastructure development.

Chairman of the Central Committee Awori day 2022, Prince Adetunji Fadina appreciated the warm reception from the monarch, he also briefed him on the maiden edition of Awori race. Prince Fadina says the essence of the cultural festival is to promote Awori unity, which Olofin stands for, and to display our cultural inheritance. He said Awori day would serve as our unique identity and the bond of brotherhood.

He also pray for Olofin Adimula and urged his Royal Majesty to continue to preach love and unity in Awori race.

Olofin Adimula of iseri appreciated the presence of the Awori day committee, he also commended AWAN for upholding Awori agenda at All times, he further informed the delegation that the plan to organize Awori day celebrations has been in his plans since assumption as the 20th Olofin Adimula of iseri olofin and Arole Ogunfunmire and this had made him visit many awori kingdoms during his tour. Kabiesi advised the organizers to continue to spread the gospel of love and unity among ourselves. He further commends the committee for the bold steps to unite Aworis through this initiative. Olofin Adimula pledged his 100 percent support for the project.
