His Royal Majesty, the Arole Olofin Ogunfunminire, Olofin Asholesha, Alayeluwa Oba (Engr.) Sulaiman Adekunle Bamgbade, Ayodele Ẹdun Alaka III, the Olofin of Isheri, Adimula and natural head of all Awori Kingdoms, joined His Excellency Mr. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, at the esteemed Presidential Ramadan Iftar hosted at Aso Villa.
The event, hosted by President Bola Tinubu, brought together esteemed traditional monarchs and Clergies and top political leaders to break fast and share in the spirit of Ramadan. President Tinubu, in his address, expressed confidence in the nation’s future and reiterated the government’s commitment to implementing policies aimed at fostering prosperity for all Nigerians.
Speaking on behalf of the Nigerian Council of Traditional Rulers, His imperial majesty ,Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, the Ooni of Ife extended gratitude to President Tinubu for the gracious invitation and reaffirmed the unwavering support of traditional rulers in advancing the nation’s progress. He emphasized the importance of collective effort in nation-building, emphasizing that the responsibility for Nigeria’s development rests not solely on the president but on all stakeholders.
