His Royal Majesty, Alayeluwa Oba (Engr.) Sulaiman Adekunle Bamgbade, Ayodele Edun Alaka III, Arole Olofin Ogunfunminire, Olofin of Isheri and Adimula of the source of Awori Kingdoms had in company the officials of The Lagos State Records and Archives Bureau (LASRAB) yesterday Wednesday 11th, 2023 at the Royal Palace of Olofin Ogunfunminire.
The officials came on a courtesy from the state agency to seek the cradle of all Aworis and see if they could find artifacts to tell the Lagos Story, the artifacts are expected to be in place for the new Lagos State museum.b
The visit was fruitful as the Lasrab officials were bequeathed with artifacts and Archival documents to take back to the agency, including a typical “Oko Aje” which had been long used about 75 years ago.
Arole Olofin Ogunfunminire, appreciated the visit and thanked the State Government for preserving our history, culture and traditions for the future generations.
